Amanda Update
I just got off the phone with Josh. As of 11:15am east coast time (8:15am west coast time) Adah is still not here. Amanda is in a LOT of pain, but only 3 cm dilated. The Doctor is on the way to break her water and give a prediction. We will see what happens.
We are all praying for you Amanda. Eric wanted me to tell you, Amanda, that now you can do anything! Go Amanda! We love you!

GO AMANDA!
As of this moment my dear friend Amanda (and Josh) are in the hospital waiting for their little girl to arrive. Amanda was induced at 1:30pm west coast time or 4:30 east coast time. As of 9pm east coast time she is just starting to cramp a little. For those of you who have gone through labor, correct me if I am wrong, this is just the beginning.
Amanda,
If you do end of reading this before you go into labor know that Eric and I love you all very much and are so excited for you. I know this will not be the easiest thing, but you are going to do great! We are praying for you - that the labor is quick and easy and as little pain as possible and most importantly that every one comes out of this healthy - 10 fingers and 10 toes. No matter what God is with you. Remember in less than 24 hours you will be holding your little girl in your arms and watching Josh hold and cuddle her. How sweet! We love you guys!
~Christie and Eric
To everyone else keep Amanda and Josh in your pryers over the next 24 hours. GO AMANDA!
Here are a few before pictures (can't wait to see the after pictures)

That's a Fact
The other day during silent sustained reading time I had to grab a book in the classroom. The book I took was called, "That's a Fact, Jack" During silent reading time I thumbed through the majority of the book a learned many different things. Over the next month of school I will post different facts that I learned while reading this interesting book. (I will share a few today to get you started)
Fact #1 (Some of you have heard)
The average lifespan of an NHL hockey puck is 7 minutes. The ones that don't fly into the stands are removed because they warm up from friction and bounce on the ice. Game pucks are chilled to -10 degrees F. for max performance and are kept in a freezer in the penalty box.
Fact #2 (Listen up guys!)
On average women say 7,000 words a day; men just over 2,000.
Fact #3 (Especially for you Val)
